This looks really great for the money. Even has good sails, auto-pilot and recent standing rigging. But I can’t see any images showing how the rudder works with the centrally hung outboard. Assuming the trailer is OK, this seems to be a bargain.

I still couldn’t make out how the rudder and outboard were linked. Could not actually see a picture of the rudder.

Pete, it's an electric inboard - ie it's permanently mounted to the hull between the skeg and the rudder, with folding prop to reduce drag. That'd be an amazing hoat for a couple to cruise with - imagine doing the murray at a leisurely pace , perhaps set up a long solar panel roof for motoring trips ?

If the motor on my noelex ever dies I'll be doing something like this - a pod in the well, although I'd probably make it retractable

Agree Paul. My only concern would be how the installation was done. The video seems to show the outboard clamped on the transom where the rudder would normally go. That also means the mainsheet traveller has been re-located from there to the cockpit floor. But in other pictures the prop does seem to be mounted on the hull forward of the rudder area. If so, that would have involved cutting a hole in the rear of the cockpit floor. So I am still unclear as to how it works.Can’t see any pictures directly showing the rudder. But it could be brilliant if it all works.

I think the controller is mounted on the tiller - a very neat solution
