Thread revival.

So the wind this weekend looks interesting. Since it is radio controlled boat weekend/learn to sail at the dam we'll be up there, hopefully Saturday arvo -> Sunday arvo. If anyone wants to escape the 30knot prediction in the bay and bring your boat to the dam I'm open to having some club guests. If you are going to Wivenhoe for the weekend they are predicting a drifter!

Was out sailing on the Broadwater yesterday teaching grandson how to fly an assy.
One very big Police boat went past at estimated 25+ knots heading toward jumpinpin.
Never seen a Police boat that big before .

Are they still HQ'd under the story bridge? Used to be some big police boats tied up there!

We just spent the weekend at a reef off the coast of Hinchinbrook island called Walker Reef. It was amazing. Incredible snorkeling, wind was 6-10 knots the entire time. We'll be doing it again as soon as another weather window opens up when I'm home.

If anyone in Brisbane needs something please say. We were lucky and managed to get through with only a couple of power outages.
