Hi guys. Just bought a Cole 19 which needs some work, and thought I might get some ideas from the site. I've been sailing since I was a teenager on and off. Started in/on a VJ, moved on to cats and now in my mature years I'm refurbishing the Cole. What attracted me about the boat is lines mostly. Hoping it will be ok for overnighting on the road occasionally, but we have so much water close by, [Gosford Broadwater, Pittwater, The Hawkesbury R., Lake Macquarie]..... that might be a way off yet. I'm crewing twilights on a bigger boat out of Gosford SC but will no doubt do the odd race in the Cole after I join.
As I said, the boat is a bit battered but nothing I can't fix and I can't wait to put it in the water, but it will be finished before I do.
Anyway, I'm happy I found this forum with contact to what seems to be a good bunch of like minded sailors.

Re: Newby
Welcome aboard. Got yourself a great sailing area so hopefully you will be out there soon in your restored boat.
