Hello everyone!
My name is Sergey. Live in Perth WA for the last 10 years. Originally from St. Petersburg Russia.
Would like to thanks everyone on this forum for nice relaxed and same time constructive atmosphere.
I'm a professional ballet dancer. Dance is my full time job I'm married and have a little daughter.
I've never sailed before in my life but have 4 years experience as a kite surfer and always had a dream to have a small sailboat.
Planning to get some basic training at a local yacht club.
I will post in General in regards two trailer sailers I'm interested.

Yes it took me 8 years full time training at Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg to become a principal dancer and last 10 years at West Australian Ballet..
Hope learning to sail won't take that long hehe.

Niva was great and one of only two 4x4 type of vehicles before perestroyka.
But amazingly hungry for petrol, however petrol prices wasn't an issue in 80'

If you can master ballet and kite-surfing, sailing a TS will be a doddle to you! I hope you enjoy the experience.

Just a word about my reply on your boat search thread - sorry but I didn't look at the link to the "Hartley" so as both your target boats are FG, my comments about the Court being better being FG were inappropriate. Also, I want to mention that the book by Jeff Toghill that I mentioned does a write up on the Court 550, but not the daysailer version. I assume the specs are very similar though.
