second chance

Post by hocking4 » Jun 14th, '13, 18:01

Hi all in the Trailer Sailer world.
We are the new owners of a very original Pacific 747 Shoal Draft yacht known as Bo-ing!
We once owned a Pacific 707 called Tardis which was moored in Pittwater, and by chance after much hunting this one popped up about an hour away!
While technically not a TS, more like a trailerable yacht, it will serve our purposes of a solid(and yes very heavy) predictable boat for a young family re-entering sailing after 10 yrs.
Will post a pic or 2 when I have cleaned it up a little and hopefully post some specs as well.
And yes, we did see it on the "for sale on the internet" page. love your work Thank you!! :D
Cheers for now
Bruce

Welcome to the forum. There have been a couple of threads involving the Pacific 747 lately, must be a resurgence of interest in these girls. :D

Coops.

Welcome, its nice to see families getting into yachting.
Nothing is free, abuse the environment and nature will make us pay the cost with interest.

Anyone ignoring the environment, is probably neglecting our children's future.
