Hi Guys, Long time member - lurker these days. The hosting company was closing down and had migrated TSP to the new host - but because our domain is registered with a different provider, what should have been a quick and easy process, dragged out a little. Needless to say - late night calls between ...

Re: Recommendations for Whitsundays bareboat hire
August is a busy time, with airlie beach race week, Hamilton Island race week. The shaggers rendezvous, and probably others too. The provisioning is good, but probably cheaper to do it yourself for such a big group. Good luck - might see you up there, I am looking at sailing up in my boat for a brea...

Catalina 375 for Sale
Hi, I have decided to test the water and see what interest there is in my lovely Catalina 375. Now - this is a great boat - and I am only thinking of selling it so I can upsize to something that will take me to the next level of my sailing dream (I need a three cabin boat for the new family). This i...

I remember sailing sabots there in the 70's. No wind and you would drift around in the fog. Great warm water.

Hopefully I will get to it tomorrow. I had the choice to write it today or go and play on my boat. Guess which one I did?

Boat fully crewed.
If it doesn't sell, then there will be a return trip in early June.

Re: Crew positions available for Queensland Cruise
Cruise update: I am looking at leaving Mackay on the 27th of April, heading down the coast to the Gold Coast. The time taken to get there will depend on crew numbers and weather (I am not going to smash into a storm just to get there a day earlier). If anybody would like to join us - please let me k...

Crew positions available for Queensland Cruise
Hi, I am currently trying to sell my Catalina 375. As part of the marketing campaign I am taking Rocket from Airlie Beach to the Gold Coast for the Sanctuary Cove Boat show. The boat needs to be on the Gold Coast by the 10th of May. It is available to leave Airlie Beach on the 23rd of April. If its ...

Re: hello again - where is the old gang
I am still here Scott, not as often as I would like - life has been very hectic over the past twelve months. I do get out sailing most weekends, sailing around the lake and up and down the coast from time to time. I will give you a call, and of course if you are up this way - give me a call - I am a...

Keep an eye out for specials. I got an E series Raymarine plotter for the same price as the C series. Controls everything on the boat - even the stereo! Jason Smith at Marmong did a great job.

Re: Not being notified of watched topics
It's funny as I only get notifications when somebody posts on this topic, about not getting notified. We can check with the internet provider, sometimes they start blocking messages because they think we are spamming people. Or it could be something on your end. Are others still getting notification...

Re: Solo sailing - safety precautions?
Hi, Solo sailing can be a wonderful experience - cruising along without any distractions. I will head out offshore (if you call 10Nm off the east coast as offshore), in pretty much any conditions less than 5m swell and 30Kn (sometimes the forecast is not very reliable and its rougher than predicted)...

I have a Raymarine handheld that came free with a chartplotter. It's waterproof but doesn't float. Works really well.

Re: Hubbell Plug
It looks like I need to be a little more forceful getting the outer cover off the plug.
I was being careful, as I did not want to break it off!
Thanks for the help, I will let you know how it goes.

Hubbell Plug
Hi, This may be more of a keeler question (as most trailers sailers are not wired up for 240V power). I have a 240V lead that runs to a socket on the transom. I have had to replace the cable, but cannot work out how to open the jaws on the adapter that plugs into the socket. I have attached a few pi...

Yes, you can have both. Of course with the CD you can copy the book onto whatever device you want.
