I've found these guys to be very helpful. They have come onto location to view the boat and make suggestions. They have shot themselves in the foot by directiong my attention to specials I'd not noticed, but best of all, One is a paint specialist and the other is a boat builder.

I can second that,

I met these two before they set up the shop.

They used to work out of a few places including MBTBC,

where I met them. Both sailers & very helpful with DIY advice.

:D

I have a 16' tiller boat that has been an on and off project for years, and the last thing to have worked on is some small leaks. I was wondering if anyone had information on some one that does hull repair/welding?

If you are northside give Merv Anderson a call (or drop by) at MASRM marine.

If not I am sure a southsider will be by soon to give you some more info :)
