Emergency trailer repairs north of Brisbane

Post by realthing » May 14th, '17, 17:48

Recently had need for repairs to trailer after tyre blew on way to bay to bay from Brisbane.Limped into Trailers 2000 at beerwah who didn't have correct U bolts, but assured me that "ALL ABOUT TRAILERS" back at beerburrum would be able to help.
Ron was amazingly helpful and dropped everything to get us out of trouble and back on road again.
This included making a 1hr return trip back into Caboolture to get the right bolts for the job. This was even after having just come from Caboolture which is where he was when the guy at trailers 2000 rang him.....
Really top guy who went way out of his way (literally) to help us for a fee that I thought was way too cheap!!

Nice to hear these types of stories.
There's another bloke in Gympie who helped me with an emergency repair of my trailer towbar at very short notice and didn't overcharge. Sadly cannot remember his name as it was about seven years ago, but it's nice to show appreciation for good quick work. I must also state that I've found most Queenslanders are like that though.
Cheers, Pete.
