Bendigo sailmakers

Post by Peter Yates » Oct 29th, '15, 20:32

Just a plug for Greg Goodall and the crew at Magic Marine in Eaglehawk near Bendigo.

I have used them a few times for minor works and purchases and they have never let me down on quality or price. Always happy to discuss sails even if you aren't spending a fortune with them.

The other day I had my old mainsail fitted with three new eyelets while I waited and bought 9 screw-on sail slugs. Total cost was just over $30.

If I ever bother having a modern sail made for Gypsy, I know where I will be going.

+1 The the team at "Goodall Design" have always been helpful and friendly. Occasionally they are too busy to make/quote new sails but that's just an endorsement!

I did end up getting them to make my new sails and they are excellent. Very good, friendly service at the right price.
