Gday all,

a friend in Wollongong has aquired a boomaroo 22 which is stored up in Newcastle.

He's not too familiar with the boat. He'd would like someone to give him an honest opinion on what needs to be done to the boat and trailer so he can safely take his family sailing.

Does anyone know of a tradie in the Newcastle area who could help out with both trailer repairs and also an appraisal of the boat itself ?

thanks in advance.

Aza

That is an excellent idea, I had a ex boat builder look over the Sunmaid and he came up with all sorts of things that I hadnt noticed, nothing big, just lots of odds and ends but they will make the boat far better

Yes it's up there somewhere. Tell him to get in touch and tell me what he wants to know, I might be able to get up there at some stage, can't promise anything though.

Thanks Robin,

I'll pass on your offer and email addy.

I thik the priority is an assessment of the trailer. Once the rig is on the road then things become much easier.

If he can get everything down here then I can give him a hand with the rest.

cheers,
Aza
