Hi, I'm from Sweden Scandinavia. It doesn't seems to be to many from outside Australia here so I will try to weight up for that.

Sailing in Gothenburg, who is second largest town in the country with 550,000 citizen. Our harbour (Björlanda Kile) has 2500 pleasureboats and is the largest in Northern Europe. Volvo Ocean Race have it's final leg here 2015 and had several starts and finnish here before. It has a huge sailinghistory with famous names. Pelle Pettersson who started Maxi boats in the early seventies and later won in the olympics (starboat). Magnus Olsson (died last year in a stroke on Gran Canaria) was sailing VOR 6 times, and would be the trainer for the womens boat SCA in VOR this year.

The replica of "Ostindiefararen Götheborg" was built here and have visit Australia and China once.

Thanks for your reply. Our best time for sailing is june to august, our summer, so you are very welcome. When you have decided if to come, give me a PM so will I happily meet up in one way or another. I'm visiting Halmstad (start point for TSR) right now with my truck and deliver food to stores.
I was out sailing with the thre masted "Staatsraad Lemkuhl" 1985 on a Tour up to Sognefjord in Norway.
