Hi, I have a 30 year old Binks design B25 Trailer yacht and have to inspect the keel pivot bolt for insurance purposes. I believe that the boat has had a repair in this area ten years ago but have no data. The keel mechanism is housed in a stainless steel box which also houses the keel up actuation ram. There appears to be an eight inch square plate screwed on either side of the box in the area where the keel swing bolt would be. Does anyone have any information on how this was designed originally or any other helpful suggestion.
Thanks Barnabusdog. Devon England.
