new Outboard bracket

Post by neilmac » Jan 14th, '19, 16:13

Hi All

I need to get a new outboard bracket. Looking at the one in attached pic. Motor is 9.8 hp 2 stroke Tohatsu. Anybody have one of these or other suggestion. Must be easy to lift, adjustable bracket

There is a man in Sydney who sells them for about $120 and advertises on ebay. He has a picture of his shed on a wharf on the ebay homepage.
I don't have the link with me here at work. I have the same motor and it handles the weight.

I just measured and it has 29cm arms. Inside white to transom. ( or my wooden post).

The rise of the mechanism is 26 -28 cm.
From my old drawings.
