Looking at launching on Saturday morning probably from the Clarence point ramp as there is relative security in this seclueded spot, ramp with a pontoon.

Then heading up the river towards West Arm where there is reportedly a pontoon and BBQ area on the Northern Shore. This is a nice shelterd area (winds are forecast to be around 12 knots)

Anyone welcome to join, can assist with launching areas if any one wants to come along.

Planning to explore the arm a bit but mostly relaxing. Maybe take a cruise out to middle island in the Tamar or head up towards the bridge (there are some nice anchorages around the north side of Batman Bridge)

Probably be heading home Sunday arvo, late. Kids welcome, I will likely have two of mine with me.

Oh man, would love to join or just head down and say hi but I'm under the pump to get my Investigator finished or at least in a fit state to leave outside in the elements. Wow, would have loved to join, sorry.

I might see how I go, if I'm running in front of my schedule might make a special trip down to help launch, say hi, wave you off and poss enjoy a motorbike cruise....might just see how I go. No promises but will try to get over to say hi at least.

Cheers, Pete
Hope to have my investigator launched by end Dec/early Jan so a cruise will definitely be on the cards then.

What time are you planning on launching? I might take a motorbike cruise over and catch up with a friend whilst I'm in the area?

Pete

Realistically I think around 10, no hurry.

Had some surgery a month or so ago and still on the mend so not pushing it.

Heading to QLD in December but hope to have a few days sailing in. Jan before going back to work, maybe that might work?

Cool.... I'll head out for a motorbike ride and try to make the boat ramp about 10ish or before to say hi. Will be good to say hi plus the weather is forecast 22°C so a fantastic day for a cruise and of course sail

Cheers, Pete
