I stripped all my brightwork back to bare wood and re-varnished it with some feast Watson marine spar varnish

I've been using Feast Watson for years on my bright work and it looks good for many years - but the boat is stored under cover. I start with 6 coats, then reapply another coat every 3 years - before it needs doing.

In the last few days I've removed the teak handrails from the cabin roof, sanded back 23 years of varnish (13 coats) and have applied 5 coats so far - 1 more to go. The teak has come up like new.

With a boat stored full-time out in the weather, I would very much limit the amount of exposed varnish and perhaps try one of the stains with what's left.
