Member Ranking System

Post by RockMan » Nov 4th, '06, 09:32

As part of the system, each member is assigned a "Rank" according to how many posts they post.

The Rank System is set at:

Midshipman Starting Rank
Competent crew 50 Posts
Inshore Skipper 125 Posts
Offshore skipper 300 Posts
Yachtmaster 500 Posts
Yachtmaster Offshore 750 Posts
Admiral 1000 Posts

On some sites, people comment on every post published just to increase their count. TSP members would never do that.....

As the sites' code of conduct are not well defined, are we allowed to bet on who becomes our first admiral?? Maybe we should have two categories; rear-admiral & armchair-admiral.
Having set the seeds for much discussion, I say no more, I don't want to end up in the brig !
