For what its worth, I have ceased getting notifications for about a week now. It doesn't worry me as I check frequently and post the Gumtree ads daily, but something seems to be amiss at least for some of us.

You wouldn't believe it, I got a "Friday Night Funnies" notification just after I sent my message! Haven't had one for any topic for about a week up til that one!

I'd thank you for that but the thanks button has disappeared from this thread!

Hi Guys, I have only sporadically visited TSP during the last 12 months. The reason is I have not been receiving notifications of replies etc so it became a bit burdensome to look up progress about discussions. I miss reading TSP posts and chats. I have checked my messages and all have been read and the settings seem to be correct. Notifications just stopped. I would appreciate this being looked at for me, when you admin types get a chance, as I miss my forays into the forum.

Ed, I lost all notifications at least a year ago and I suspect everyone has.

Rather than bother the admins I just visit the site whenever I have a moment between jobs and click on "View new posts".

It is a bit of a pest, but if you are a tragic like me (and especially during a Woodend winter) it is no hardship.

I have never received any notifications since I joined. Maybe I did not tick something, anyway I don't care because I just come in and click on the new posts, same as Peter. There are never that many to be honest, and being a mod I have to read them all. The notifications thing is something that Jeff will have to look at, not in my jurisdiction that one. I could try but the site may just disappear if I did.
